Strawberry Party

It is straw­berry sea­son and we cel­e­brated!   I made pound cake into cup­cakes and mini loaves.  Cup­cakes always look great on their own spe­cial cake stand!  Since it was pound cake I just sprin­kled the cakes with a lit­tle pow­ered sugar.  I made picks that said ” Happy Birth­day” to the birth­day girl and “Happy Mother’s Day” to mom, plus some said “We love you berry much”! (I know, it’s silly, but I couldn’t resist!)  I also made a ban­ner that said “We love mom”.    The tablescape was set up on a vin­tage berry table­cloth.  Straw­ber­ries, a great party idea you can take advan­tage of all sum­mer long!

Fresh Straw­ber­ries and white choco­late cov­ered berries loaded up on clear glass pedestal plates and bowls made from Good­will finds.

Always yummy!  Just pre­pare some lemon­ade and add some sliced frozen straw­ber­ries.  This was served in a huge cookie jar punch bowl.

A straw­berry plant was used as a dec­o­ra­tion on the table, then I left it as a gift!

Can­ning jars with images of mom were used as vases on the table.  Good­will finds are the red and green trays, plus the clear glass plates and bowls.
